National Tribute Music Awards

In 2018 in a glittering award ceremony at the Athena Theatre Leicester, Julia was awarded the accolade of being the UK’s No1 Tribute to Celine Dion. Julia was also nominated and short-listed as the UK’s No1 Multi-Tribute artiste.

Julia then went one-step further in 2019, when at the 2019 National Tribute Music Awards held at the stunning Chateau Impney, she was awarded yet again the accolade of the UK’s No1 Celine Dion.

Julia’s production company JM Productions was also nominated and short-listed for Best Marketing & PR 2019, a reflection on the great website and marketing publicity for all of Julia’s shows.

UK THEATRE TOUR

Julia Martin’s award winning Celine Dion show ‘The Vegas Years & Beyond’ is now on a tour of UK theatres to raise money for the Autism Unseen Tall Ships Challenge (please see news item). We have new theatre dates being added on a weekly basis, so please keep looking to see when the show will be coming close to you. LIMO LUXURY

Julia was collected in her very own Limo whilst in Lahore, Pakistan. She was performing a number of shows for the world famous Pizza Pomodoro group whose restaurants are favoured by the rich and famous. Julia quickly became a media sensation with the press, radio and television and was filmed visiting a number of local schools and hospitals. Her shows were broadcast on national TV and she took the prime guest spot on the City FM Drive Time Show. 

Sky TV

Julia was invited to record a television programme for Sky’s, ‘Cruising With The Stars’, a popular and lively daily chat show where Debi Jones invites a different guest into the studio to discuss their life and love of performing whilst cruising. Julia chatted for nearly an hour about her travels around the world with various video clips and photographs being featured. Follow the story HERE

Julia Back Out To Dubai

Julia Martin was flown back out to Dubai this time as the guest of Ciro Orsini, owner of the world famous Pizza Pomodoro group whose restaurants are favoured by the rich and famous. Julia after successfully owning and running her own 450 seat theatre in Southern Turkey was being consulted on the entertainment requirements for the Le Meridien Hotel. The picture shows Julia meeting up with Ciro Orsini, along with the owner, and the manager of the Le Meridien Hotel.

BBC Radio For Julia’s New Song

Julia was thrilled and delighted to be invited onto BBC Radio Merseyside to be interviewed by the legendary Billy Butler. Billy has spent nearly 30 years in local and national radio and has become one of the country’s most popular and entertaining presenters. Julia spent over 40 minutes chatting to Billy with regard her new song ‘Your Voice’ with Billy commenting what a fabulous and catchy song with amazing lyrics. Raising Money for Autism Unseen

After the success of the Autism Unseen Kilimanjaro Challenge where Julia helped raise over £40,000 to send a team of autistic youngsters to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, Celine Dion’The Vegas Years’ is now raising funds for a new and exciting challenge. The show is currently touring theatres throughout the UK in support of the Autism Unseen Tallships Challenge, where in July 2022 Autism Unseen will be taking 6 groups of autistic and special needs youngsters, accompanied by team buddies, and sailing them 1,675 miles around the UK in a 70 foot Challenger Racing Yacht. This is one of Autism Unseen’s most ambitious challenges to date, and the first time that a challenge of this nature has ever been set. By the time the autistic challenge participants have completed their voyage they will be much more self assured, confident and ready to meet head-on the daily challenges of being autistic.

Starlight Nights

Julia still holds very fond and happy memories of her time owning and performing at her venue ‘Starlight Nights’ in Southern Turkey. This fabulous 450 seat theatre restaurant provided nightly entertainment of the highest standard, delivering fabulous shows and great food.
